Hong Kong Day 2 Part II - “The Happiest Place on Earth” | February 25, 2013
WARNING: This post contains too many photos of err… me (I SWEAR)
Some people say that you didn’t experience childhood if you haven’t watched any Disney movie. I definitely agree with that! I am one of those people whose love for animated movies hasn’t diminished over the years. Even though the characters are just made out of the creative minds of the artists, I still see them as real. :-)
Yeeehaaawww!!! *Jessie (Toy Story)’s voice* I gotta say this is the HIGHLIGHT of our trip because we really enjoyed every second inside the happiest place on earth. Thanks to Disneyland for giving us a fantastic experience.
MAIN STREET USA - This has got to be one of my favorite places in Disneyland. Can they just transform this into a real community? Lol say what?
ART OF ANIMATION - I really love this one because it has toooo many awesome stuff inside! I call this the “root” of Disneyland because basically, without animation there will be no Disney. Tourists/visitors will learn more about the Disney animation from past to present.
It has maquettes, sketches, storyboards and background paintings of Disney characters.
This is called ZOETROPE - it features some characters from Toy Story like Woody, Jessie, Wheezy, Bull’s Eye, and the Aliens. It is a device that produces the illusion of movement from a rapid succession of static images on a spinning disk. Here, they used actual 3D figures.
Love the quaint streets! Can I just live here… forever?
We were in a good spot during the parade.
Time to cross the moat into the fairytale castle - FANTASYLAND
IT’S A SMALL WORLD - Got to see colorful dolls and toys that represent different cultures around the globe while riding an enchanted boat with my siblings.
Woody, Bull’s eye and Jessie were there!
They are filipinas!
(Back at the Main Street USA - took a rest after long walks)
ADVENTURELAND - I love how different this place looks like compared with the others. Lion King and Tarzan ~feels~
We were able to explore the waters of the jungle via jungle river cruise but too bad, we weren’t able to go to Tarzan’s treehouse. :( Next time!!!
TOY STORY LAND - We experienced being shrink to the size of a toy in this place! Woody was bigger than us! It has awesome rides like RC Racer and Toy Soldier Parachute Drop but we weren’t able to ride one. :(
Toy Soldier Parachute Drop
GRIZZLY GULCH - We got to ride its main attraction - Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars!
TOMORROWLAND - We weren’t able to explore this place that much. :(
Disneyland at night.
The most awaited fireworks display! :>
I’ll be back soon!
